Remember the scrapped Make Believe song “Love is the Answer?” It was one of the few scrapped songs heard in the Making of Make Believe bonus video that came with the album. The song has been recorded by Sugar Ray and will be released on their next album available July 21st.

Songwriter Mitch Allan has announced via his Twitter (@mitchallan) that he will be writing with Weezer next week. A look at his wikipedia page reveals that Allan has been responsible for SR-71′s “Right Now,” Bowling for Soup’s “1985,” and other crap such as collaborations with The Jonas Brothers, Faith Hill, Chris Daultry, and Kris Allen.
We also reported last week that Weezer is working with Dr. Luke, who has worked with Britney Spears, Katy Perry, and Avril Lavigne.
