AOL Sessions “Butterfly” donated for Haiti relief
Weezer has donated a recording of “Butterfly” to Music For Relief. The organization has put together a compilation album in which proceeds go towards relief efforts for Haiti . This recording features harpist Allsion Allport, and is from Weezer’s Raditude AOL Sessions from this past October. The compilation can be downloaded and donations made here.

Weezer Remix Contest – Love is the Answer
Weezer has posted a new contest to remix Love is the Answer on Indaba, which offers the winner a chance to collaborate with Rivers Cuomo on a to-be-officially-released track. The second place runner-up will be featured on an “upcoming Weezer release.” The top ten honorable mentions will be posted on Weezer.com and Weezer’s MySpace page, and the honorable mentioned artists will receive a free, signed copy of Raditude.

Weezer to play Bonnaroo
Today, it was announced that Weezer will be performing the Bonnaroo music festival on June 12th. The event, which takes place from June 10th to the 13th, is being held in Manchester, Tennessee. Tickets are now on sale, and can be purchased here. This is Weezer’s first appearance at Bonnaroo.

Previously unreleased “The Rat Race” available via TargetCancer
A previously unreleased track from a 2003 recording session titled “The Rat Race” has seen the light of day thanks to The Right Track: Tunes to TargetCancer. Proceeds from the song help fund research for treatment for rare cancers.
According to the band’s website, this track was originally recorded in 2003 for an all acoustic release. “The Rat Race” features guitarist Brian Bell on lead vocals, with Rivers Cuomo singing backup.

Remix of “I’m Your Daddy” released on iTunes
Remember the Weezer Raditude Club iTunes Pass? It’s been resurrected for a new week of content. Week “8″ brings us the Serban Ghenea remix of “I’m Your Daddy” and the Digital Booklet of Raditude. No word on whether this remix is the new version being sent to radio as Raditude’s 2nd single.

Rivers healed, “Pinkerton: DE” and “Odds and Ends” expected in spring
Rivers has been cleared by doctors to once again take flight. Through the band’s twitter, he announced, “Doctor says my lung is all healed–cleared to fly to Florida for the show. Turns out I broke 5 ribs!!!” The band can now continue to perform, returning to the stage with January 20th’s T-Mobile contest show, at Florida State University.
Karl also announced on the band’s website that the finishing touches are being put on both Pinkerton: Deluxe Edition and Odds and Ends, a collection of previously unreleased Weezer songs. Both are expected to be out either before or by spring of this year.
